Have you identified what each ordinal is indicating?

Have you worked out what order to consider each of the words?

You actually don’t want to reorder them. Consider them in the order listed on the card.

The first letter of the answer is “P.”

The ordinals pair up with the listed words as such: 2nd opinion, 5th element, 1st aid, 3rd party, and 4th wall. Depending on the ordinal, you take that letter from the listed word to get the letters. So the 2nd letter of opinion in “P” and so on. This gives the letters P-E-A-R-L. The answer is PEARL.

That's all the hints I have for this puzzle. The next click will reveal the answer as well as a quick breakdown of the intended method for arriving at the answer.

Have you worked out how to assign the ordinals (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) to the list of words?

Each word from the list will “pair” with one of the ordinals.

The ordinal is indicating an aspect of the word it pairs with.
